was established in February 1969 (36 yrs ago) and from its
humble beginning with only five (5) photo studios (booths),
it expanded to over 300 units all over the Philippines. You
will see these photo booths prominently in many SM stores.
In 1984, it operated the Photo-Me S.E.A. in Hong Kong, 1988
in Taiwan and Singapore.
With DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY, FOTO ME recently invented a new
concept to expand its well-known name all over the
Philippines. With a simple “Slim Jim©” photo background
that replaced the booth, it can now be sited almost anywhere
and everywhere
This “Slim Jim”© a new Concept in ID/Passport photo taking
business opened a new business opportunity to many people.
It is small and slim, handy and very portable. It can be
sited almost everywhere where space is a premium. The new
digital camera and digital printer of several well-known
brands contributed to this new way of photo taking, opening
a new horizon to making money quickly and easily.
It is FOTO ME’s aim to “unfurl” and “hang” its famous brand
FOTO ME – “Slim Jim©” all over the Philippine archipelago
where hundreds of stores will benefit in this new concept
and system.
It will give added business to many stores and photo shops,
creating jobs for many young people already “certified” in
photo taking. It will help in the Identification of people
especially in this age of Terrorism.
The availability of very competitive prices of consumables
made it very profitable to operate this added business to
many stores. The system is rent free as it will only use
the available vacant space already existing in the store and
employ one trained and certified “Slim Jim©” photo assistant
