If a Passport is recognized as an International ID, why not as a valid LOCAL-ID?
The Philippine passport is accepted internationally. The data contained therein is already valid and sorted by the government.
It's recognized locally and in foreign countries as an authentic proof of one's identity - therefore it is a valid I.D.
In addition, the PASSFOTO-iD is easy to carry, (credit card size), tamper-resistant and secure because of a special patented laminate and security markings, a system commonly used by credit card companies.
The PASSFOTO-iD is a facsimile of
your passport converted into a valid I.D. recognized
anywhere in the Philippines and in
the world, but never to be used as a passport to replace
the original.
