THE ULTRAVIOLET HOLOGRAM
The Ultra Violet Hologram or UV hologram is a security feature included in the Passfoto-iD that is invisible to the naked eye. It can be viewed only using a UV lamp (most commonly used in detecting fake currencies). Absence of the security markings voids the authenticity of the Passfoto-iD card. Reproduction of the card from unauthorized person will not display the hologram mark.
MICROPRINT SECURITY
Another unique feature of the Passfoto-iD is the imbedded microprint. This prints are nearly invisible or totally visible to naked eye without any magnifying lens. This microprints are done using state-of-the-art printing machines which is not possible using ordinary or entry level card printers. Reproduced cards using ordinary card printers will render the microprints unreadable even with the use of magnifying lens.
